I can't say i have ever really been a fan of Richard Nicoll, but to be honest i have never really looked at his work. I feel in love with his new spring/summer 2012 collection whilst looking through the Elle catwalk photos earlier today at work. I love how dreamy it all is, whilst still being clean and modern. The silhouettes are chic and sophisticated, and i think that's why the pastel colours work so well. The soft, candy floss colours are mixed up with shiny fabrics and clear, plasticky materials. All in all, this is my favourite collection for s/s 2012 so far. Strange considering i'm not really a pastel wearer, i tend to stick to darker tones....
